Has TUF run its course?

Has TUF run its course?

I ask this after being so frustrated with tonights fight (Wang) and the general attitude that seems to be prevalent among the competitors.

From my point of view it almost seems that there are only a few fighters in the house that truly want to be the TUF champion at the end of the show. The others seem to be just content with making it to first or second elimination, get tv exposure, and then hope that Dana White will eventually put them on as opening fights for a future main event.

What happened to the desire to WIN it all without question that we have seen in previous seasons?

that fight looked BAD. Andy looked sloppy and Melendez looked average.

the only fighter that has impressed me thus far is Manny. but he makes up for the lack in talent there. Manny's a monster.

I think they have to choose guys with more experience. I know personalites matter but I still don't get how Monstah, Noah, Wang, and Emerson. They're all very one-dimensional have barely any experience or so-so records. Those guys also don't have much personality. So far the ones that have been shown the most are Corey Hill, Nate, Manny, and Gabe. Out of all those guys, the only one that is talentless is Corey.

They should show more Joe Lauzon. He's probably the most talented out em all next to Nate.

Everyone is in the same weight class this season so it seems like the difference of skills and experience is broader with the fighters
.

Bad coaches make a bad team. Losing streaks also break the morality of the team.

It's happened to Ken Shamrock's team, and you see it currently happening to BJ Penn's
team.

And TUF 4 was hard to say who the real coach was on the losing team since they lacked leadership.

BJ's not a bad coach, Pulver has been picking off the weaker guys. Its not BJ's fault Wang didn't try and attempt a takedown.

I don't think it has "run it's course". Even though there are fighters who's general mentality is "Hey! I'll get one fight in the Octagon on tv and be satisfied". They'll usually be weeded out and the fighters who are legit will make it into the UFC.

People will tune in regardless who's fighting which makes the show a success. So unless people stop tuning in there's no reason to bring the show to an end.
