I think you take too harsh of a stance on TUF.

That said, your last sentance really stuck with me. If I have to endure Kendall Grove not getting cut the next time he loses, I don't know what to say.

You're right about some fighters staying too long in the UFC that have come from TUF... but the TUF show itself I really enjoy.

Usually, the 2nd round fights are better than the first as the cream rises to the top. There are 4-5 legit fighters from this season as with most seasons.

I've found this season entertaining and look forward to every episode. It is an MMA tournament, what's not to like?

Really hard to complain about TUF after seeing Final Fu, Iron Ring, Tapout, Bully Beatdown, ect. Contenders editing was the worst thing I ever saw, when they slowed down actual fight footage, constantly showed the crowd and added sound effects.

It's actually not hard at all to complain about TUF. Anyone who has watched since Season 1 knows the format is stale and the level of talent has dropped dramatically.

Every season of TUF has not sucked but the last 3 or 4 have(being generous). Yes, it gets better in the semis but that's like saying every season...OK, lets put up w/the first 8 episodes to get to something that MIGHT be worth watching. Its an MMA tournament w/two round exhibition fights. The first season of TapouT was legit BTW.

Oh, I am definitely a little jaded when it comes to TUF but I still watch every episode. I am like the admitted alcoholic who still gets pas-out drunk every night.

HAHAHA I can respect someone who admits they are jaded about the show but continues to watch it.

It's better than most people who claim that the show has sucked since TUF season <insert number here> but then can tell you about every episode and comment about it.

Or the people who comment on episodes of TUF but then have never even watched the show except for that one episode.

A) This season we didn't have preliminary fights to get into the house, everyone was allowed in. So we didn't have the benefit of watching the "people who don't REALLY want to fight for a living" getting kicked out before the show really began.

B) The quarterfinals should be better than the preliminaries we watched as people have had more time to train and work on mistakes they made in the first fight. The semifinals should be better than the quarterfinals using the same logic, and the finals should be amazing.

C) Every season, I start off not knowing anyone and rooting for no one and by the end of the season I have a clear fighter I'm rooting for.

This is why TUF continues to keep my interest...

Maybe you guys judged the season a little too early?

I share your views on this. You have to take the show for what it is and not expect anything more.

yeah crappity crappy crap. Big baby deffinetly my favorite of the season. sad that he has been the most impressive thus far. gotta love the guy though.
