Distilled Water - Cutting Weight

How will this go in to your body any differently than regular water?

The idea is that since distilled water is free of minerals, it will flush out sodium from your system and thus get rid of water retention

yes, salt (sodium chloride) makes the body retain water. So since distilled water has no minerals, including sodium chloride, it will be excreted by the body more quickly.

so does that mean you can effectively drink more distilled water or is it still something that you should be limiting to the extreme?

You shouldn't drink distilled regularly because it dehydrates you. Drinking it means it does not absorb into your system.

Drink distilled water 3 days before weigh-ins. You'll get better answers in the diet and supplementation forum, and there are some good weight cutting threads in there.
