Dude...Honestly...He was hyped up as the favorite throughout the series and even after he tapped out Goldie decided to mention how during training a fighter will tap earlier than he would in a fight to avoid getting injured and "maybe that's what happened here tonight".

Also, did anyone else see the look on Rogan's face during the opening segment after Goldie said that CB was a lot of peoples favorite to win the whole thing?

No submission defense, too cocky. Looks like he smells sour milk all the time too.

The point about the training tap was to explain why CB clearly tapped but then was acting like he didn't. It wasn't like he was trying to make excuses for him, just make sense of a bizarre situation.

I have to say that from what we were shown CB seemed like a smug, arrogant prick. I was happy when he lost the first time, and even more happy the second, when he pulled the whole "What? Why'd you stop the fight?" crap in front of a nation full of viewers. I'd love to jump in and say, "You guys are right, CB sure does suck."

Then again, I suspect that a building full of guys who scout MMA talent, coach MMA talent, are themselves proven MMA talent, or are peers developing their MMA talent, all of whom spent 6 weeks living with the guy, might just be slightly better judges of how good the guy might be than we are. Everyone on the show thought CB would cruise. He's hardly the first young fighter to fall into a couple of armbars.

Ya I don't like CB.. he seems arrogant (and the way he tapped, than says "WHAAT" I sort of love the replay you get when it's over it goes to him pouting like that) and such

but ya know the dude has skills, he man handled everyone he faced physically, and Amir got 2 armbars off from the bottom. (Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me)

CB could be dangerous if he starts using his tools, until than he's just a tool in my books.

WAR AMIR!!!

CB made a comment after his first loss to Amir along the lines of "I knew my arm was in a bad spot but I didn't think he would be able to lock on the armbar so I just left my arm in there". That just shows that he is cocky and inexperienced. Why would you give your opponent even the slightest chance at locking on an armbar if you could avoid it?

As far as him being over-rated, throughout the entire show they kept mentioning that he was the favourite to win the whole thing, he was Rampage's first pick etc. The thing that bugged me is that it seemed after every fight he said that he didn't do his best in that fight and would show his true potential in the next fight. Never happened.
