cb is VERY over-rated

whats so special about cb? he seems like a very boring fighter, resorted to some horrendous lay and pray, has no jiu jitsu, sub defense or ko power. whats all this hype about him? i think he thinks hes alot better than he really is. he has a ton of work to do. this fight with tim vs cb was a SNOOZER. i just dont see the hype on cb, i really dont. he looked average and seems like an arrogant dude. he wont get very far in the ufc

I will have to agree with this. He doesn't know how to finish a fight. He had Tim down and out in the 2nd round or their fight, and he let him back up and back into the fight. Too overrated.

All I know is Dana looked like he wanted to cry when he had to congratulate Amir and present him with the trophy/contract.

I recall CBs first fight, and you could hear Dana saying THIS IS GREAT, LOOK AT HIM.

Very uncomfortable moment for the viewers, Dana.

Agreed. Not to mention horrible choices of ground and pound.
I mean picking the opponents feet and try to put them above their heads, and then let go of one and strike with that hand it's just stupid. He's just asking to get traingle choked or armbared.

I noticed that too, WTF? In the final episode it looked like he really was impressed with Amir, then when he won the actual finale he looked dissapointed.

JT v. CB would have been the biggest L&P festival of all time.

Good for Amir! At least Amir is exciting and fun to watch.

Cb losing by armbar, training for 3 months for the same guy, and still losing by armbar shows that he was not the better fighter.

I just hope Dana doesn't try to prop up CB with a 3rd fight against Amir...

CB reminds of the tools from highschool, that didn't graduate, or if they did, they went around to every house party trying to pick fights, usually got ass from the younger girls that think it's cool to date "tough guys".

Not to mention, before the fight when they interviewed CB and Amir, asking what they have been doing since the show. Amir- i've been training non-stop with Forrest, trying to get better, etc. etc. CB- well i've been partying alot, hanging by the pool, TRYING to pick up chicks (ok, maybe not that last part, but we all know it's true!)

What Hype? He was in a 32 man tourny caled TUF, and he did O.K. Nobody is saying he is the next big thing. I don't think Dana coddle's TUF alum, so we will see if he is really good or not. We also have to remember that all TUF's are reletivly new the sport and they go on the show to learn new skills and usually improve alot after the show
