Dude Cale the decision in that fight is undisputed. Cale won that fight. In the first round Cale has 3 takedowns. While the supposed knockdowns by Shultz were not really knockdowns as they were Cale throwing kicks and falling on his ass. In the second round Cale was completely dominating like a wrestler G n P ding Shultz and also had three takedowns. Shultz can say whatever he wants to say but he was scared for a third round as he was so fking tired.

Also in CB's blog it seems like he is already foreshadowing losing next week. Blaming the noise from the fight and already making excuses.

He can also cut the "Rampage just wanted to see a third round out of respect for the guys' shit right now. The only reason Rampage was calling for a third round was because his guy spent the entire secound round trying to catch his breath while getting his head smashed into the floor. It was obvious that if the fight were to have been a decision that his guy was going to lose, hence the call for a tiebreaker round. I agree with the fact that Schultz outstruck Cale for the most part, but Cale did end the last 60% of the round in top position doing some active GnP, so the deficit in striking could have been made up for then. I thought it was very close and could have gone either way. (The first round, Cale won the second hands down) Like I said the GnP could have swayed those particular judges

Also, they (fighters and Rampage) need to realize that the judges decide the fight and not popular opinion amongst the biased people watching the fight (the two teams). If it went to a third round Pat would have still had no gas and would have been GnP'd the rest of that round as well. Do all of the naysayers think he was going to suddenly get fresh after being gassed for a round and a half?

Kinda gives away the next fight when he asks people to come watch his fight with him at a bar. I really don't think he'd be that excited about watching himself lose while surrounded by new fans (I assume everyone believes CB's going to beat Klein anyway).

Good blog even if I don't agree with 10-8 for Patrick at all.

I don't agree with his scoring on the second fight at all. How is the first round a 10-8 when Cale still is landing some shots standing, even though he's losing, and scores two takedowns and lands several shots after both? Also how is Schultz considered to do better in the second compared to Cale in the first when Schultz has nothing of interest whatsoever in the round? If he gave both rounds 10-9 I'd be ok but giving the first 10-8 in itself, and even more when he gives the second 10-9, he comes across as very biased.

The evaluation of the first fight is surprisingly unbiased given what he said about the second. I agree with him here but saying that this fight was stopped a bit to early is more realistic than giving Schultz 10-8 in the first of his fight.

I understand Pat's "his boy" and all, but how can he think that it's cool for Pat to diss on Forrest like that? Forrest should've pounded Pat's ass out right then and there and then take on Rampage.

fights should be scored like they are in Japan, not scored by rounds but by the whole fight as a whole.

I get the opposite impression. Why is he encouraging his fans to come watch the fight with him if he knows he's going to lose?

I agree. The judging has become completely arbitrary.
