The most disturbing thing is it was the same color as the carpet. If I owned that house, first thing I'd do is rip that shit out of there. You shouldn't have a carpet which is a color that allows massive bugs to be crawling around on it without notice.

He was just too big to sleep in the twin beds, so he claimed that chair as his bed.

A GIS of potato bug shows something similar to a large mole cricket. The camel spider looks closer to what it looked like on camera though.

I live int he desert and we had those in the house occasionally. The locals call them vinegaroons, but in reality they are a sun spider. They are not camel spiders. The worst thing about this bug is that unlike most bugs, when they see you they dont run away, they run at you. And when they run they lift their front two legs, like they are taunting you.
