boycott BS tuf
tuf has been so detrimental to the quality of the ufc it's not funny, taking the champion and a top contender out of competition for the best part of a year, holding up title fights and promoting ring rust (quinton looked like SHIT, he must regret doing the show, turning down a mil for being in a movie and getting too fucking rusty to defend his title, it can't have been worth it to him.)
and now that shit's going to happen again with nogueira and mir.
shit, mir will be the size of the tuf house after a layoff like that.
it's fucking up the ufc titles and needs to stop. they don't even ever have any quality fighters anymore, it's bullshit
FUCK tuf, and fuck you ufc for making us wait like this for title fights.
bottom line: BAD FOR THE SPORT

shame it takes 2 top fighters including a champion out for so long, it doesn't need to be like that, the ring rust is a serious issue.
maybe nogueira needed time off after sylvia but not that long and mir should have been fighting at 86 or at least pretty soon, he need to stay active

I dont see why it's bad for the sport. If it was on CBS or NBC etc.. it'd be HUGE for the sport. So what if it takes a little longer to have a title fight? I want hte sport to gain more press that isnt negative.

Tuf isn't always title fights. It brings in some great talent into the UFC. Forrest dealt with the same "ring rust" as Rampage, get over it. It was a good fight.
It is not bad for the sport.

If I predict Forrest over Rampage on my sig and it comes to fruition does that make me awesome?

TUF has been very good for the sport and Forrest winning the title is the perfect example of my point. It has brought in a ton of very good talent. Last season was stacked with talent and hopefully next season will bring in a couple of young heavyweights to add to a weight class that is lacking. I really hope the show brings in actual heavyweights this time and not a group of fighters moving up in weight classes. Last time the show featured heavyweights, all of the top talent (My opinion of the top talent did not include Imes) were LHWs moving up and now they are in the lower class.
My point is that the show has been good for bringing in new competitive talent each season. While I don't like titles being on hold either, it is great for young fighter to get the opportunity to train with the best in their weight class. Mir/Nog is not a good match up to begin with, but it probably will be worse with so much rust. But I like that young talent is given such a shot to finally make real money

I just hate how the titles get tied up. Nog is one of my favorite fighters and he will be on the shelf for 10 months.
