Big Baby: Most Impressive Win So Far?

Out of all the fights this season, I have to give it to Marcus for the most impressive win and finish. That arm bar was awesome.

Big things could come from that guy for sure, very quick for his size.

His BJJ looked good, but his opponent was not that good and his open arm stance could have led to him being knocked out. Roy would pick him apart.

you're right about the open stance. he needs to work on that.

Exactly. And Schoonover, his next opponent, throws hard straight punches.

yeah, he's definitely been the most impressive. Shame it's come about 10 years late for him.

At 35 I dont see him having the time to work on everything he needs to challenge.

And Marcus can rag doll a puffed up LHW at will...

It will be an interesting fight. I'm curious to see Marcus' cardio and if he can take a punch.

He was the most impressive... After the first round my rankings were.

1. Jones
2. Schaub
3. Wren
4. Nelson
5. Madsen
6. Schoonover
7. Minestrone
8. McSweeney

Schaub, Jones and Wren can be interchanged, but I did that because I think Jones vs. McSweeney, Schaub vs. Minestone and Wren vs. Schoonover should've been the match ups based on rankings (because they are the best style match ups for the top seeds).

I was very impressed with Marcus' 3 submission attempts in a very short period of time. He won with skill and intelligence, not just overpowering his opponent with his size and reach advantage.
