That was a very entertaining fight for me. I was kinda rooting for Amir but after he was held down most of the fight, I figured it'd go to Harris. But the knee changed everything and that's one of the great things about MMA, IMHO--there's so many ways you can win a fight even if you're being dominated.

i think harris has tons of potential, which he can realize with a but load of hard work. and regardless of what happened on the show Dana will still be interested in him down the road. With that said, for all most the entire fight, it just seemed to me like it was only a matter of time before amir landed a monster knee or head kick to put harris down. i enjoyed the fight alot, and have enjoyed just about every one this season. one thing i thought i would never say is that they could show just a little more of the house and its goings on. seriously, just a little. And more of the training. Good fight though, great comeback.

Amir is a super cool guy. I'm glad he won the fight.

Amir's knee was excellent, the one he almost connected with in the first round would have been devastating.

HELL YEAH! the striker beats the wrestler, AWESOME, Harris had some AMAZING slams, I was all, "holy shit (fork drops on floor, sushi dangles from agape mouth)" about them, but when he used his wrestling to tie up Amir against the cage... Oh no, here is another Rashad Evans (scary awesome wrestling, not enough dynamics)... When I saw those slams I was all amazed, but the absolute lack of any ability in striking (he rushed with sloppy punches just to scare into a takedown attempt) was boring to me. I hope he gets on track and trains hard in what he needs (not more wrestling)...

Amir's striking looked really crisp, his sprawl was not great, but I think Forrest can help him on that, Amir's leg kicks were very quick and had nice snap to them, he turned his hips into them very nicely, his striking looked much better than the guy from Boston in the 2nd fight (so much so that I felt bad for that guy coming from such a great trainer as Dellagrote)...

I look forward to the finale so we can finally see Rampage vs. Forrest

(and based upon Forrest's showing as a coach, I am worried he may upset Rampage, I don't know why I think that, or even why I'm worried, he wins he deserves it, I just like Rampage the most minute amount more... shit they've both been under dogs... I just hope it's an amazing fight)...

Harris showed that he had incredible strength and pedigree for MMA,but he also showed that he was one dimensional. He has much room to grow though. When he did throw standing up he did well by setting up his shots. He did show some good glimpse's of GnP,but Amir's composure and stand up was the factor.

Great fight. This won't be the last we see of Gerald Harris.

I found Harris to be an active and exiting fighter. Problem is he's still a little rough around the edges and gas'd a bit.

I forsee him making it to the big leagues some day.

Amir's knee's came in part from a never give up attitude and was sweet to see. I actually jumped off the couch and yelled "now finnish it!" after that. Then my kids told me to keep it down....

I had a feeling a knee was coming. That knee Amir just missed with earlier would have knocked out a chargeing rhino.

Even though Amir won, I expect we'll see more of Harris than Amir in the future.
