Rampage said a lot of that shit when he was walking away, what's Forrest going to do, lol run after him?
I don't think he acted scared at all. It's going to be a great fight, though I expect Rampage to win.
Rampage better not underestimate Forrest though.

We'll have to see how the next episode plays out, but this is the first time I have seen some real anger on Forrest's part. I think he is already one of the most passionate and committed fighters out there, but think of him with some Rampage style anger. Maybe Forrest's demeanor is as much a defense as a weapon. Surely he uses his humor to diffuse situations and get people to overlook him, but maybe he has some real internal conflict going on. Maybe getting shit on by Schultz was the straw that broke the camel's back.
Consider how fighters are easily able to dismiss criticism from keyboard warriors, but what of a fellow fighter. Schultz was a man who lost twice to competitors considered weak. He has watched Forrest's excellent coaching pick of Page's guys one by one. And being part of TUF he should respect how integral to this whole thing Forrest is (Really is there any other fighter who is even close to being as important as Forrest for TUF). And then this guy calls out Forrest!? You think a fighter would respect not only what he has done as a fighter, but the wars he has waged (Griffin-Bonnar I and II, Griffin-Tito, and Griffin-Shogun), the contributions to TUF, being the single most important fighter to the modern-era UFC, and the contributions to assholes like Schultz, who are riding the wave of popularity of MMA and TUF.
We all know Forrest fights with great heart and emotion, but I wonder what happens if we get to see a little anger. In any case, I am excited to see the next episode.

Why not? It was a heat of the moment thing, I didn't see anything wrong with it.

Schultz talking crap to Forrest was hilarious and pathetic. Sounded like a sulky little baby who obviously was way out of his league in terms of who he talked to.

Amazing things:

- Mazz allowed an entire round of LnP in the Schultz/Yarbrough fight. An entire round of LnP and there's only 2 rounds...
- The refs allowed a lot of LnP in both fights. Way, way too much. There might only be 2 rounds, so the refs should be quicker to stand them up for stalling, but the refs did nothing.
- Schultz won the first round, but somehow got screwed out of a third round. Man, Mazz really screwed Schultz in that fight. The judges didn't help either.
- Griffin was talking his fighter up like he wanted nothing to do with the ground, but what did he do? I guess he didn't have a choice since he was getting his ass handed to him in the first round.
- Team Rampage gets screwed some more...
Who's judging these fights, Ray Charles?

It's not that strange that the ref stopped it early after saying something since if someone drops and just lays there it can be dangerous for them. It might have been a bit too fast, I didn't see exactly how well the punches afterwards connected due to the bad angles.
You don't stand people up when the guy on top throws as many punches and elbows as Yarbrough did. Do you make up your own rulebook? Not even Rampage complained for a second about that round and there's even a small possibility that it could have been a 10:8 round since Schultz had nothing in that round (hence no third round).
It's also clear that the takedowns and the number of punches Yarbrough had there in the first could be enough to steal that round so it was not very shocking if you know how judges look at things.

Think the fight was boring? Blame it on the guy with no jits that was getting beaten on.

I think the original guy that used the phrase "lay n pray artist" in this thread was talking about Gerald Harris. Which is ridiculous.

I was impressed that Amir kept getting up. The stoppage was early IMO....Harris clearly got rocked but grabbed a single when he went down....He should have been given a little time to recover. Amir didn't hit him with brutal shots after he went down.....oh well.

The stoppage was early and I felt bad for Harris but in that position he would have taken more and more punches and it would gotten to a point where it would have been a good decision. He made a mistake to rest in such a bad position and paid for it, such is MMA.
