I have sympathy for most of the Katrina victims but I also gotta say WTF?!?!?!?! Did those people not watch the National Weater Service warnings? I mean they live in Hurricaine central for pissakes! Granted, the pos mayor didn't give the "Official" Evacuation warning in proper time but wtf were those people thinking? I'm not a sadist, I realize that many of those people couldn't afford to just pick up and leave. My issue is with the wealthy people who COULD afford to leave and DIDN'T. They get NO sympathy from me...they deserve to lose everything they lost....I cannot stand a stupid fk and that's exactly what those wealthy people atre who didn't leave..

Dudes and dudettes ahve you seen the episode with the family that had their daughter abducted 10 years ago. This mum hasn't given up hope and started a foundatiot to help other families and so far they have found over a hundred missing children. 2000 children are reported missing every day in the states and only one ´in five are recoverd. That episode brought me to tears. Aswell as the story about the couple and the summer camp, such generousity and warmth it was amazing

Katrina Victims were given alot, and most of them did NOTHING with it.. The went and gambled.. they went and blew it..

I am guessing you've never been to the shithole area.. It needs to be cleaned up, and by giving the people everything and handing them the world IT WILL NOT HAPPEN..

Alot of the cities old buildings have been destroyed by fire. Fire damage in 2006 was way beyond it had ever been before because the Fire Dept. couldn't possibly deal with all that shit. Its a real shame that part of the cities history, its old historical buildings, have been erased.

Anyone who thinks those people in the SuperDome should have just left the city before the hurricane hit or lived somewhere else to begin with and they're stupid for not, are the definition of stupid and obviously have never had a true rough day in their life.
