The UFC cut Tommy Speer from their roster the other month when he lost to A. Johnson, and then the WEC picked him up. Although Tommy Speer vs. JT$ sounds like an Intriguing fight, it unforutunately won't happen.

Yea he's tough kid, impressed the shit out of me (tuf fight) when he held out on tapping from fully extended armbars and Fully sunk in rear nakeds for minutes. Although he advertised as "Strong" that isnt gonna cut even in some of the smaller shows, and he should spend sometime learning the basics.

Either way, I wish the best for him and feel he has a big heart, and hope his training catches up

Wow, that's a stupid thing to say.

A guy who essentially fights part time who fought his way onto TUF, beat more experienced fighters en route to the finals has no business fighting in the UFC cause of losses to Rumble and Danzig?

The kid is young, he's got skills but he isn't even close to there yet. With two or three more fights he will be a powerful WW. Probably will never be a contender but he has potential.

WEC is a better place for some TUF winners and finalists to start. The step up in competition levels between TUF and the UFC is getting bigger and bigger each year.

Winning TUF doesn't prove you're ready for the UFC; it only proves you beat a bunch of mediocrity. (Few exceptions.)
