looks like the majority of the guys are solid, but how do these guys that are like 5-7 get on the show? They don't belong there! I know a guy From Minnesota that tried out for the show that is 13-1 (Some tough fights) and he didn't make it on to the show. He even had a good word from Brock Larson and Sean Sherk put in for him and still no cigar.

Sweet, how do I make MY mixed martial arts debut on TUF???
Well, you could always do what Amir did: win a lot of grappling tournaments, then knock out a few guys in Muay Thai, and then go undefeated as an amateur MMA fighter. That might help a little in getting on the show.

I've seen Dave Mewborn and Jeremy May fight live....They both fought and lost to the same guy...Jeremy May had the shit pounded out of him and Dave Mewborn was Ko'd by a slam...It's on his record as a NC because the ref said he was KO'd by the guys head on his chin...Nonetheless, the guy he fought knocked him down with a lead left, GNP'd him, slammmed him twice while in the guard and then he was Ko'd by the second slam..about 40 seconds into the first round..pretty brutal.....Both these guys are not very good...Jeremy May is GARBAGE and Dave Mewborn is a nice guy but not very good..They are both really tall skinny guys, Mewborn being the bigger guy with big calves and legs.....Not sure how Jeremy May got his shot but i do know that Mewborn is trained by Rory Singer and that's obviously how he got on the show.....Two duds IMHO

i am hoping having 32 weeds out the cans as well. but i am curious to see how the first round matchups are determined. if it is randomwe could have wang-lobstah in rd 1 and 1 of them still makes it into the house. or you could have ed herman-kendall frove in the first round and a contender to win the show goes home.

what are your guys thoughts? a training session after which the coach's "seed" the guys and have #1 fight #32 and #2 fight #31 and so forth and so on?

on paper certainly, and having seen a few vids id agree. Its a bit different getting smashed in the face while youre trying to control posture from the bottom though. Be interesting to see.
