Pff, the Clintons are some of the most politically capable, manipulative people out there. They're filthy rich, and have taken just as much as they've received from the party elite. Frankly, I think they've had their asses kissed for far too long. She'll get no sympathy from me. I don't care how many crocodile tears she sheds.

Basically the delegates are saving their own hide for re-election for the offices they hold. In their heart, they may support a candidate, but if the citizens in their district support another candidate, they would be foolish not to support who the people support.

Bill Richardson see's OBama as a winner and is only trying to get a cabinet position in the Obama administration if he is elected pres or even a bid for the vice pres spot.

Politicians are just that. No candidate is squeaky clean.

It's not surprising that people like Ted Kennedy and Nancy Pelosi 'defected' to the Obama camp. Think of it this way--if you were a senior democratic politician, who would you rather have as president: a highly charismatic political naif who might be very susceptible to your influence, or a headstrong, established, manipulative and disliked but capable politician like Clinton?
