if there was more care taken in the bombings of southern Lebanon, ie. fewer civilians killed but the same reaction taken to try push out Hizbollah from the southern Lebanese border?

Personally I would, mainly because the Lebanese government had enough time to take care of this issue in the past but didn't seem to care/do anything, hence Hizbollah would have been fighting with Israel on the border for an indefinite period of time.

Yeah more or less, I dont object to Israel going after Hezbollah, its the manner they are doing it that I object. They have targeted way to many civilians and civilian infastructure, they have gone overboard.

I means seriously "set you back 50 years" or whatever nonsense they said, they are acting like terrorist they seak to destroy.

And yes they have targeted civilians you dont blow up apartment buildings and not target civilians.

Fair enough. The only thing I would like to point out is that they said "set the clock back 20 years", which was a reference to the time when Hizbollah didn't exist, not to blowing the shit out of Lebanon.

As far as the target choices, one problem is that Hizbollah is an army, but often their weapons stockpiles and other related stuff is found in civilian houses, so it's a shitty situation and very difficult to deal with. That said I thought they could have waited longer to do it all.

Israel has delt with this matter for far too long, good riddance to hezbollah, and too the civilians that are killed on both sides, i'm sorry, but you don't choose war, war chooses you, it's a very shitty philosophy and i wish it wasn't like that but that's the case most of the time

yes, and if they did not already state (at least I heard Netanyayou say) that they won't provide any assistance in helping them get back on their feet. And that question was asked about the Christian areas that have been damaged so heavily (not an adversary)

IDF should go after them, but does not make sense to blitz moderate civilian areas, showing indifference towards collateral damage. All this over a kidnapping, not in response to something imminent and serious
