One day when I was an undergrad I was walking across campus when all of a sudden a squirrel tore ass into the bushes right in front of my path. I was curious as to why he was in such a hurry so I turned to my left just in time to see a hawk coming right at my head.

It was almost like a cartoon. He looked like he was slamming on brakes in mid-air and he pulled up at the last second. He was locked onto that squirrel and all of a sudden, out of nowhere there I am in his way. The look of fear in both of our eyes is something I (and maybe he, if he can remember that long) will never forget.

They should cull all the PETA people...and feed them to animals.

I might have shit my pants. Those birds are scary as hell, and they're a lot bigger than they look on TV.

Interesting, I'm going to look into that.
