it's a tough ask securing a border that size. i mean 6000 troops spread over = 1 troop every 3 miles roughly.

We could just annex Mexico and put the border on the far side. Much less mileage to cover AND we get the cheap labor too!

That's a big chunk of realstate to monitor. I don't see how 6000 additional troups is going to make any bit of difference.

We could catch and release mexicans like we do with bears. We'll tranquilize them, tag them, then send them back to mexico. THEN, we can put up an invisible fence, like we do with dogs, that shocks them if they try to cross the border....... or something like that.

yea. even tho 6000 isn't enough, 6000 is a lot in terms of how many are removed from iraq. This president needs to understand the concept of "limited resource"

There are actually a lot of people in the military, and fighting in Iraq, who arent american citizens. I think most of them are mexican/hispanic too.
