Thats fair enough. My gran had two female dogs that would be gay with each other, not through choice but through lack of male dogs about.

However, there are certain species in which homosexuality has been observed despite no lack of 'straight' mating opportunities. If you want to read up on this, there is a book called 'Animal Exuberance', it always got checked out of the library for its hilarious illustrations of gay animals (not very PC when compared with my arguments in this thread!).
