Waco: Rules of engagement. A documentary.
I'm sure most people have seen this film, and it's probably been discussed here, but I find what happened at Waco to be relevent to what we are experiencing today.
First of all, if you think the government acted appropriately at Waco, please leave my thread and start your own titled; Im a dillusional idiot that lives in shiny happy Americaland.
For everyone else, I just hope that we, as the citizens of this country that believe it IS the best country on the planet, and are TRUE patriots, and have fought for this country and love its people, never forget what the government is willing to do IN PLAIN SITE of everyone, when we suspect they are doing devious things in secret.
I for one am sick of patriotism being hijacked by people with agendas and corporate interest at heart. Im sick of American citizens that are willing to give the Bush admin a pass, or not even care (or know for that matter) that they believe they have divine right to abuse the inate rights of the people of this country.
George Bush, democrats, republicans, congressman, senators, state reps, mayors, governors, police, FBI, ATF, and the people that support them, are the America haters. Where are the patriots that will take this country back (if we in fact ever owned it)? Where is this generations "Jefferson" (Thomas, not George or Weezy, smartasses)?
Whatever, it's 2:21 am and I just got a case of the bumbed outs from watching that documentary.

Here, Here...
By the way, did you watch that on the documentary channel? If so, there's a doc on there called "Shaking Hands With the Devil." It's about the commanding general in charge of the peacekeeping mission in Rwanda...one of the best docs I've ever seen. A real eye-opener on just how sick with interest every nation of the UN has become including ourselves. What's really scary is that the same thing is going on, albeit on a less scale, with Darfur and people across the globe are too self-absorbed to care. Too busy with non-issues like boys kissing, affirmative action, Mexicans pouring over our boarders, etc. to give a damn about thousands of people dying. I woud like to think on a political forum that people would be more aware of genocide, but I guess that wouldn't be convenient nor serve their interests...

ABSOLUTLY CORRECT. What is happening in the Darfur region is exactly as you described. Remember the UK troops in Ivory Coast??? I shall indevour to bring you some info into this thread concerning that. What you have described above is called conditioning. Through the belief that what we have is pretty much as good as it can get we are kept busy unable to think outside the box inorder to make enough money to pay taxes which dont even line the pockets of our goverments, but instead of a private organisation of banks (Therfor individuals). Please watch money masters if you have time it is a very important documentary ... (You may have seen it already?)
