You want change? FUCKING DO SOMETHING IN YOUR LOCAL COMMUNITY AND TAKE PART IN YOUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT. Doesn't matter who you elect, they can't do everything.

Politicans are spending to much money which is causeing our economy problems. Bush is a moderate, and Clinton ran in 92 as a conservative death penality democrat.
Obama will be change allright, the most radical president ever in the whitehouse, WITH NO POLITICAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS. Higher taxes WILL NOT FIX OUR ECONOMY! Government spending is less effective than private spending. I read an article the other day that if the McCain porkbarrel plan went through we'd pay 10% less taxes.
In 1950 American produced 95% of what it consumed and had a balanced budget. You didnt need to go to highschool to find a decend job.
Hes never ran a business, government, or served in the military.
Wow mmafan you actually had the nerve to flame me in one of my threads.

good post, change starts at the local level.
Why do we have people living in washington making laws for people who live 1000s+ miles away. We shouldnt have a big federal government or a federal tax

this is true, but it is not the American way. The American way since the Vietnam war has been to bitch about shit and then sooner or later a leader will do it just to hear you stop bitching.
Plus we are fucked no matter what, I would rather be fucked with someone who has no regard for a human's life unless they are American, than with someone who wants to love every human.
A good leader must be willing to go to hell so that others may go to heaven, McCain would do that, Clinton would do that, I hope Obama would to, but I doubt it.

Yep. I'm voting for Obama!!
I'll get HOPE!!! I don't know what I'll be hoping for, but I'll get it!!
I'll get CHANGE!! I don't know what changes he'll be making, but I'll get it!!
I'll get FAITH!! I don't know what he'll have faith in, but he'll have it.
But, I don't care. I've been hypnotized by Obammunism like everyone else. I'm voting for HOPE, CHANGE, and FAITH. Although myself and other Obammunism addicts have no clue to what he actually stands for, at least we know we like the keywords he hypnotized us with.

Damn, you couldn't be more right. How do these scumbags get to the national political level? Because not enough people are involved in the local level to keep them out. These dirtbags had to start somewhere. They start local, or they have famous parents or spouses who started somewhere. If we start getting very involved in local government, we can prevent most of these clowns from climbing the ladder to the national level.

McCain's pork plan saves about $37 billion a year. That's about the cost of three months in Iraq. I'd rather see that money spent in the US on something that has a chance of having a productivity factor greater than zero.

Dem in office does not equal instant troop pull out. Hate to tell you that.
McCain is like Bush? Pretty sure that McCain is the same person who threatened to leave the Republican party in 2001, main reason, because he was PISSED AT BUSH. McCain is fence jumper and will say anything to to sucker conservatives into voting for him. It disappoints me because I vote Republican and I would have rather seen anyone but him as the nominee. Looking back at his track record before he began his bullshit campaign, he has been known to support gay marriage, abortion and has made intolerant comments about organized religion.
Now he is changing his tune over the past year and a half now that he has to take a hard stand for his party.
If he gets elected his true colors will show and he will be the pseudo-conservative that he really is. I think I will sit this one out.

McCain is right on the illegal immigration issue. We should treat them humanely and put them on the pathway to residency. McCain-Kennedy is a great bill and really is a great example of cross-party politics. It however is also a perfect example of our Congress. It got shot down by extremes left and right. Then when last summers immigration reform bill goes to Congress stupid right wing ***gots use scare tactics to tell high-school drop outs that the illegals are the enemy.
McCain's health care plan is also a different view on things.
really voting for McCain comes down to whether or not you feel like the Iraq war is an important issue in this campaign. I don't, so I would consider voting for McCain depending on how things develop on the Democratic side.
