If you enter your peacenik existance in to the Octagon to the overly naive "Imagine" by John Lennon????

Jeff Monson, the UFC "Submission Expert", and vocal critic of everything politically namely the War in Iraq (and that's his right no offense), entered the Octagon with the entrance song IMAGINE by John Lennon.

Monson was dominated horribly for 5 rounds by a sloppy and yet to be proven UFC HW champion moron Tim Sylvia in what's likely to be pegged the most boring and useless MMA fight, not to mention championship bout of the year.



As I said earlier....Leave the politics at home boys.... Just Shut the Hell up and FIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Ya, that was trite, and a song he used before. "Imagine" is something that inspires 16-18 year old girls to change the world, not hardened anarchists/communists. His takedowns suck too.

Carlos Newton entering to Destiny Child's Bootylicious is still the greatest moment in terms of UFC entrances. Well that and cross carrying by Joe Son & Kimo but that hardly counts since it was so long ag.

Monso should have picked up some notes from Korean MMA and used Refused as intro instead.

Haven't you seen that? Your missing out, he had dancers and everything. It was a nice contrast to Matt Hughes entrances in their fight (UFC 34).

Monson did not get his ass kicked, Jeff pushed the fight for 5 rounds while Sylvia's gameplan was to avoid contact and just concentrate on shelling up against shoots and strikes

If yellow cards were giving out in the UFC, Sylvia would be beltless right now
