Terrible. but then If there were enough bobbies and they started braining people, then they would have been in the wrong. The police could have articulate being legitmately afraid for their lives, with regards to any use of force scenario. Thats what they teach you in crowd control. Never let yourselves get surrounded. These guys were in hot water. With a crowd that size, one person sets it off and it over for the bobbies. I wonder how the prescence of firearm would have affected the situation? Hard for the crowd to be so ballsy when rounds start flying down range.
