Usually the persons getting paid 20-30k a pop to knock off the bears are not the ones you would trust on this issue. Just my "animal instincts" kicking in.

I agree in general, but this is not just a local tribe of natives that our politicians are disputing. This is a sovereign nation with it's own scientists. They have been managing the PB's for a long time.
