Its about equality, surely you can understand that....

I view the two as being separate issues
High schools are funded by the public, so I would be fine with standards to force equality.
Private colleges however should be able to make their own decisions regardless of equality

Unfortuently in our country, private schools and businesses can't be counted on to inforce equality. That is why we have laws regarding hiring processes and school processes....

Like I said, private schools and businesses shouldn't have to enforce equality.
If it is my school and I wish to keep all blacks out, then people can boycott my school, if it is my business and I only wish to hire blond haired, blue eyed girls then I should be allowed to do so.
No one is forced to go to a college that bans blacks, so why does there need to be a law?

So you, like me, have no problem with affirmative action practices at private colleges?

It's not like this is an Ivy League school, it's a school of over 40,000...ASU still has some of the best graduate programs for a state university, mainly Business...I plan on going to it's law school after I get my History and Philosophy degrees...
Where do you go Gem...

just graduated from Stern, why?
I know people from my high school that had a 2.0 gpa out of a 4.6 scale who got into ASU, do not pretend it is a real university. What I said holds true, maybe instead of investing all of their money into any sports, they should worry about improving their academic standards. When you improve academic standards it means your alumni will be more successful and then can donate money so that they don't need Title IX to get their school some stupid ass sport teams that make the school no money.

"Or watch our women become empowered! Gosh how horrible would that be!??!"
Kill yourself.
Empowered??? By cutting the most masculine and oldest of sports???
Yeah lets drop the foreplay here and just make it mandatory for every man in America to get straponed by a lesbian once a week in the name of girl power, yeay!!!
The ancient Minoans tried this bogus physical equality crap once...they were crushed by the Myceneans.
When there are no men left to defend your country, just a bunch of effeminate media- brainwashed eunuchs and equally delusional little girls, bend over and spread em.
Trust me, the rest of world looks upon our weakness and licks it chops with anticipation of our fall.

if they're private, they shouldn't have to abide by bullshit affirmative action laws or meet quotas that are not based on academic success. I wouldn't abide by them. Want to get into my school? Bring something to the table besides your skin color

College sports are not intended to make money. Yes it does happen and yes it helps, but that is not the reason for college sports.

If the only way for you to be a tough, strong manly man is to keep women below you and submisive says alot about how insecure you are.
There is nothing wrong with women getting equality. Men can still be men!
