Actually, moron, a mother has the right to choose what to do WITH HER OWN BODY!! If she brings a baby to term and delievers it- it's no longer her body.

I think it has more to do with indoctrination of irresponsibility. Irresponsible parents raising irresponsible teens who have sex at their leisure and don't consider the serious consequences, ending up with an aborted fetus and a bad case of the vag bumps.

It needs to be taken in a more holistic view though, rather than as a causal mechanism.
Bad parenting can be because the parents were poor, which makes the child likely poor. It could be because the new mother has mental health issues, which can be a genetic trait from her parents and/or brought on by her environment etc... It's a huge clusterfuck of bad bad things.
