All of the taboos and rules made by the church have helped to spread, not prevent, the spread of STDs (including HIV/AIDS). They should be passing out condoms instead of palm branches this weekend. They might just save some lives.

Did they factor in that abstinence pledges result in a greater likelihood of engaging in anal sex which has a higher transmission rate of "teh package"?

You guys act like this is breaking news. Everybody knows Jesus nerds can't get laid (or don't want to which is even scarier). Oh and Iran doesn't have the cure, but I heard if you have butt sex with Magic Johnson, it clears up pretty quick.
