I think that explains why the former isn't questioned, and the latter is.

While I agree that blacks being genetically superior athletes would explain a lot, it doesn't explain the complete lack of white football/basketball players at various positions...

You could say that blacks don't perform as well as coaches...

Fact- Jeremy Wariner is ignored in comparison to other sprinters/track athletes.

I think it is pretty damn clear that black athletes are favored over other athletes(not just whites) specifically because of their race and NOT just because of their performance.(Though their racial/ethnic advantages are certainly a big part in why they dominate the sports that they do)

Theres a cultural phenomenon mainly in the US called "white guilt", pretty sure that has a lot to do with it.

I got the raw uncut so I don't watch BET, but I read some where that they edited that shit out.

I guess no white story arcs on BET.

BTW, the Wire is supposed to be returning this fall or maybe january for a final season, focusing on the media.

The fact that The Wire didn't get any Emmy nominations is proof enough that teh racism is still here. Fucking preposterous... If the Wire or Rome doesn't win best series (and neither was nominated), then the whole thing is a fucking joke.
