This sounds like an Urban legend. All the stuff you posted looks real but it just sounds so strange...

There's no doubt in my mind that some groups of psychopaths have embraced the Internet.
Here's a real mind fuck for you:

What are the odds of multiple serial killers "loosely connected" keeping this thing a secret?

Someone posted exact coordinates to where a girl was buried, 1-2 hours before the body was officially discovered.

And its not just La Crosse. Its Minneapolis, St. Cloud, Chicago, Eau Claire, as well as cities in many other states. And yes, the men there all match the same description.
I live in Minneapolis, and have been to the bars down town. The Mississippi River is about
2+ miles from the heart of Downtown Minneapolis bars. One can not simply wander into the Mississippi from Downtown Minneapolis. They either need to make it a point to go to the river, or have to be taken there.
Are you one of those guys that needs an authority figure to tell you what to believe? Because its sad if you cant see that some fucked up shit is going on.
And a city will deny that there is a Serial Killer as long as possible. Read this article by an expert.

No, I don't think they up and walk into the Mississippi. I think they get way too drunk and wander off without knowing where they are going. It doesn't surprise me that most men fit a similar description, since a lot of these guys, who are in college athletics, are peer-pressured into drinking way more than they can handle. Seriously, a guy drowned last year during Oktoberfest because he was running away from some girls, and was drunk to the point that he thought jumping off the bridge into the river was an ok idea.
If these athletic guys are drunk to the point that they can be that easily overpowered, taken to the river and drowned, without a single person noticing, I find it much more likely that they are drunk enough to have an accident on their own.
I'm only speaking for how things have gone down here in LaCrosse, and if you turn the wrong way out of the bar, you can be at Riverside park in less than five minutes, not to mention there are no railings, just a steep wall of rocks that lead to the river. So basically, if you fall and hit your head, you'll likely be unconscious in the river.
Believe me, I'm not a fan of the LaCrosse police, or the way they handled these cases after so many happened. I just don't think there is a group of serial killers doing this.

Baseball Furies, imo,
Interesting to read about, but I don't know how much stock to put into it.

How many people have to die before people like you get it?
The thing is that they are not always extremely drunk. Have you ever drank before? I have and Ive been wasted. Ive been well above .08. I have never gotten the urge to just leave a bar and go wonder into a river.
You think that when people get really drunk they just decide to leave their friends and go wondering about town? They just go for a walk without calling anyone they know? And yes, maybe the river in La Crosse is right next to the bars. But its not in MPLS, and not in St. Cloud. So why is the exact same thing happening in all three of these cities as well as many others.
Just a coincidince you would say? I say anyone who thinks college men suddenly have the urge to get wasted and wonder out into open water are very naive and ignorant. Especially when this is happening over and over.
Some of these cases may have been accidents. But thats very few if any.
