I'm sure there have been countless speculations about the different sherdogger profiles. How many teenagers, how many woman, how many people actually train, how many actually compete etc. Anyway, I'd like to know how many of you have spent time behind bars, for what and how long.

I've been arrested 2 times. First was when I was 18 years old, possession of a joints worth of Marijuana - spent a weekend. Second time was an interesting story. I work with street children here, and it just so happened that a guy in my street was actively molesting street children. I heard screams one night and basically stormed into the guys house to rescue 3 kids from him. The irony was that they arrested me first for assaulting him... spent just the day behind bars before being bailed out. About a month after that he was arrested and spent only a month behind bars for "indecent assault" - the fucking prosecutors were too useless to put a rape charge together. Partially because street children are "unreliable" witnesses. This guy actually died a year ago at the age of about 45, but apparently killed someone after this whole incident. Not sure about the details of the death, but he was definitely capable of murder.

Anyway, I'm no angel... but both times I've been arrested, were quite ridiculous. Being a kid, smoking a blunt on the train. Cops could've let it slide instead of letting me spend a whole fucking weekend inside. The second time is just fucking insane... need I say any more?

Anyway, just felt like sharing those little incidents... would be interesting to know yours.

geez, cops are gettin it in the war room today, this, the gay thing, and the kid. Were the cops right on the scene? how badly did you serve it up before cops were there? and if cops were local, why didnt they hear the screams?

For the first time in my life, I was literally thinking very serious about killing someone. My lawyer got me off on the basis of his arrest and testimonies by streetkids on my behalf. Once I got hold of him, the kids actually did more damage to him than I did. For $2000 of legal fees, I shouldve done a bit more damage.

Over here (South Africa) the cops aren't paid very much... so go figure. I was the one who called them after hearing the screams. They actually slapped the kids around as soon as he accused them of stealing from him. They didnt give a fuck that some tall skinny 40 year old fuck in underopants had 3 black homeless kids between 12 and 15 inside his house at the middle of the night... suspicious?!?

To answer your question, I intentionally hit him only to the body and open hand to the top of the head as I was paranoid about his potentially infected blood on me. Not even joking. The kids kicked him in the head a few times though.

It sounds so fucked up I know, but plan to make a movie about this whole story some time. There are so many twists... his families political influence, the inefficient judicial system etc.... the whole saga took about 2 years of my life

smoking a blunt on public transport is pretty stupid esp in the US.

here if they find drugs on your person they just take them away or destroy infront of you (unless there is enough of it to be selling)

tough tough breaks, maybe you look like a trouble maker?

Well its South Africa, but yup... stupid. But what 18 year old isnt a bit stupid. I would've expected just a slap on the wrist though. The other situation was fucking bizarre, because I was in my late twenties (now 32), and definitely respectable. The second arrest happened about a week after the incident and was probably more about corruption and bribery that got me nailed. So I dont think looking like a trouble maker applies really.
