What's the 'real military'? You mean the grunts that score 10 on the ASVAB and get sent out as meat shields? I guess if you are proud and feel like bragging about that, whatever makes you happy. I did a valuable job in the military. That's why I can command a 6 figure salary doing the exact same job as a civilian, while a meat shield would be stuck flipping burgers. Actually, this grunt got a 93 on the ASVAB, and I'm making WELL over six figures now. I'm also happy enough with my life and my self that I'm not making pathetic fucking threads on the internet begging for the sympathy of strangers. And I have the satisfaction of knowing that I rate some respect in an international brotherhood (any military, any country) based on the fact that I have proved something that didn't involve a #2 pencil.
