Prediction: McCain 274, Obama 264

Check out the Presidential Election tool at USA Today. Pretty neat.

indiana might go democrat this year and he really only needs to win one souther state and thats florida. from what I read is that obamas people have a new "map" to the white house that does not resemble john kerry's at all. obama wins no matter what...latest poll in usatoday says that 16% of americans think the country is in the right direction,16 % no way another asshole republican gets elected and it sure as hell is not going to be grandpa munster

People like you think that the Obama camp is running up against the Bush administration, which they are not, McCain and his team will different in many ways. If Obama's people make the same mistake people like you make, it's going to be a much easier road for McCain to the White House.

Oy.. nobody knows what's gonna happen. What should have been a landslide for the Dems will most likely be a very close race, once again coming down to a handful of swing states.

If Obama doesn't pick Hillary, I can't see how that doesn't hurt him. I think he needs her, but everyone is saying there is a lot of animosity between teh two camps. I think the "dream ticket" wins the swing states like OH and MO; the rust belt states are really hurting economically, so it's hard to imagine them voting in Mccain. Howeva, I'm not sure Mid-westerners will vote for a black man... it's really a big question mark.

I will say head to head I think Obama trounces Mccain and wins people over... I think, anyways... Mccain isn't a very good debater and gives crappy speeches; whereas Obama's oratory is off da hook.

I think both obama and mccain are poor debaters. Obama happens to give better speeches.

Too early to tell. We'll have to wait till the october surprises clear to judge.

well thankfully, zeolot republicans like you are not the majority and McCain will not win...for the fact that his policies are going to be a direct continuation of the bush adminstration, so implying that McCain is some maverick republican is a lie (he may of been earlier, but to be the republican nominee you have to sell your soul) McCain has flip flopped on so many issues and the issues were pretty much in line with bushs and his neo con cronies

Here's a gem from the Washington Post:

Racist Incidents Give Some Obama Campaigners Pause - washingtonpost.com

Racist Incidents Give Some Obama Campaigners Pause

Quote:
The campaign released this statement in response to questions about encounters with racism: "After campaigning for 15 months in nearly all 50 states, Barack Obama and our entire campaign have been nothing but impressed and encouraged by the core decency, kindness, and generosity of Americans from all walks of life. "
So, after 15 months, Barack Obama is "nothing but impressed" by the decency of Americans...Wow. So happy to hear that. I was actually a little nervous about his final verdict. Americans can finally be proud of themselves.

And regarding those "racist incidents", I bet walking into Obama's church in the middle of a Wright rant would have given those naive campaign workers a bit of a "pause" as well.

If I went to certain parts of the US or the world I would also experience a lot of racism and hatred towards me. I dont like it but I dont believe that such people have a duty to like me and accept me into their homes, schools, etc. It's their town, their culture, their rules. If I want to be accepted, I stick with people I'm similar to.

Basically, if you don't like it, stay away.
