I know in reality our criminal justice system has some problems but the idea that we need to deny our prisoners basic rights so that the can be tried properly is disgusting.

If our legal system is so poor that it can't be used on foreign captives, it probably isn't good enough to be used on citizens.

i always thought about for all big terrorists, to first surgically remove the eyes, teeth, nose, ears, tongue, eyelids, arms, legs, nuts, dick, shave off all the hair. just leave the torso.

hook up this torso to intravenous(sp?) fluids for sustance, and have those bags for fecal matter, and a cathoder where the junk used to be. in the intravenous line into the arteries or veins, have a numbing solution, make sure the keep the mind working sharp.

place said terrorist into kind of a pouch. the walls would be like those pouches you put hot water in and put it behind your back, that type of consistency. place them inside of this pouch.

if we could find a way so they didnt even know if they were breathing or not, like on a iron lung type of thing, you could keep them there forever, and the great thing about it is the super religious terrorists wouldnt know if they were alive or dead. and that would screw with the mind hardcore, years and years until you die of old age thinking our construction was the afterlife and the afterlife is a black nothing. perfect punishment for the terrorists and perfect way to deter other terrorists. the mind could literally implode into a frazzeled mess.

or you could just starve pigs for a couple of weeks, and then feed the terrorists kicking and screaming to the pigs, perhpas face first so the other terrorists can watch their mans face being eaten off by the unclean swine. once the pigs have digested their meal and passed it out, collect the fecal material which will be 100% terrorist and wrap that in pigs skin and send it to the next of kin. or send it back to the terrorists in pakistan.

both ways perfectly justifiable.

God damn habeas corpus. Why can't our government just imprison or kill people at will, would make things so much easier. What were those idiots who wrote the Constitution thinking?

Doesn't apply to enemy combatants caught waging war against our military overseas. The supreme court even ruled that this was the case.

I will admit that they need to hold military tribunals for people at gitmo, but OBL is a special case. he's alreadt admitted he did it.
