Obama has shown questionable judgement making abilities in the past with his words on the cop versus the professor scenario where he stuck his foot in his mouth.

The thing that makes it all worse is that we expected more out of him simply based on Bush alone.

For a guy lauded as a great public speaker - and which he has, at times, proven to be - Obama has some real holes in his game. Bush lowered the bar so far in the speaking arena that you'd simply expect everything out of Obama's mouth to be properly genius by comparison. This little faux pas certainly reveals that it's not always so.

You were pro Obama until you watched that video?

Amazing.

the press is informed by the administration that he is going to speak about the shooting. It doesn't take a genius to realize you don't joke around and smile after a national tragedy.

I'm sure you would have been the first to defend Bush if on 9/11 he had gotten front of the school and said "I want to first start off by giving a shout out to the principal of the school, we are working very hard with no Child left behind to help advance... three minutes later... by the way, there's been a tragedy today. Planes hit into the World Trade Center so everyone keep them in your thoughts and prayers"

I'm not surprised though that a radical administration finds an opportunity to talk about racial equality is more important than addressing a national tragedy

First off, why do you clowns keep comparing this to Bush's reaction to 9/11?

This shooting isn't even close to 9/11. This is on par with a postal worker going postal at the post office. The only differences are that he's a Muslim and the shootings took place on a military base. Yeah it sucks. But it's not a national tragedy. Most people will forget about this in a couple months.

That said, were you upset about Bush's failure to do *anything* for several minutes aside from look dumbfounded after a real national tragedy, when our country was really under attack? If you weren't upset about Bush being frozen with fear and you're getting all butthurt now, you're a partisan hack. But of course, we already know you're a partisan hack. And this brings me to my next point...

I find your outrage disingenuous. You clowns who are getting upset about this are the same clowns who got worked up over the 'terrorist fist jab' and Joe Biden asking a cripple to stand up -- your phony outrage is transparent.

It was a brutal terrorist attack on American Soil. On the largest army base in the country no less.

Just because 3k people didn't die doesn't make it any less of a tragedy. What, we need a certain bodycount now for the president to act respectful and reasonable about it?

When did this become a national tragedy again?

America has lost more troops one day in Afghanistan than were lost in Fort Hood recently.

The real national tragedy is Obama continuously sending more Americans to die overseas so a small handful of people can get richer.

Yes, it does.

1 person dying is less of a tragedy than 2 people dying.
15 people dying is less of a tragedy than 3000 people dying.

Look, I understand that you hate Obama and you'll hate on him at every possible opportunity. A good chunk of you clowns in here are relentless haters. I get it.

I actually agree that this could have been handled differently. But I'm not all butthurt about it, like you clowns. I find your phony outrage to be partisan and exceedingly disingenuous. It's hard to take you seriously.
