Obama gives "shout out" at awkward news conference for Fort Hood shooting

And I thought Bush was embarrassing to listen to. All the applause and the "shout out" at the beginning gave me the creeps. Little by little, his President Camacho side is coming out.

It doesn't seem like that talk was a direct response to the shooting.

And what's the "Camacho" shit? Did Rush Limbaugh tell you to say that?

I can't listen to him. I tried to watch the whole thing but couldn't make it.

I don't see what the big deal is of him congratulating a Congressional Medal of Honor Winner. Bush had done much worse than this.

I listened to the Glen Beck show today and the fill-in host (Glen Beck is in the hospital) was also complaining about the "shout out".

I guess the Native American thing he was talking about was more important than a domestic attack on soldiers about to deploy. Acting like that before talking about Fort hood just makes him appear clueless, but perhaps you have to blame the guy who put the teleprompter slides together.
