Weak.
Saying that he'll try and strip the immunity provisions from the bill is all window dressing. There's more than enough votes in the Bush-lovin' Senate to pass this horrible bill.
The people that really deserve the contempt over this crapfest are the gutless simp Steny Hoyer and the person who put him in charge of negotiations, Nancy Pelosi. Really weak performance all around. The telecoms basically bought themselves out of this and Hoyer let them do it.
