Well I think its understandable what she said. Until Whites in such large numbers started to support Obama, she would have thought that despite the civil rights gains, most America was still racist to varying degrees and would never accept a Black ( or part Black) man as President. The support Obama got told her that things had changed a lot from how it used to be so she made that comment.

She made it to a crowd of supporters so its hardly her trying to be critical or attacking. She was trying to show how happy she was that things had changed, but it ended up being perceived all wrong.

Is she proud of how American Indians are STILL treated?
How about any other group which not have much attention?

Maybee she would feel that while the primaries proved substantial number of White Americans have no trouble voting for a Black guy , loss in general still shows substantial White Americans won't vote in a Black guy . Now you can say she should see it as issues and not race but many people can't see how McCain's policies would be good for America so the only reason to vote for McCain is to vote against the Black guy.

Cuz he never was. he was nto baptised. This is confirmed. he did recite the Muslim prayers and was raised with some Muslim influences. Big difference. People have also said that he grew up one. Whether you beleive it not is your opinion. No one ever called him Catholic.

I personally couldn't careless if he ever converted to Islam at any time, even today. What I'm critical of is the motivation of people who insist he was a muslim when there is no evidence to support it. Your link provides no verifiable proof that Obama was a muslim. It implies that his muslim Step-father was responsible for his conversion. That article reminds me of the one about Obama not being legally African-American but instead Arab-American which was also full of lies.

I found this quote to be interesting:

And I disagree with you about Obama trying to conceal his supposed muslim upbringing. He acknowledges in his book that his father's parents were muslims, that his step-father was a muslim and even tells personal details about himself like his teenage drug use. This isn't a man who has a history of concealing secrets about his background from the public. The people making up these lies have an agenda which I already mentioned in my last post.
