Anyone watched the first episode of this show?
I heard it was cool so I DVRed it and watched it tonight. The basic premise is that some aliens show up all of the sudden and reveal themselves and offer to help humanity with their advanced technology in exchange for some water and a mineral that is abundant on earth.
They are greeted with open arms and become celebrities in a way.
Now, the strange part that I noticed was the following which is revealed through the story in the latter half of the first episode.
-The aliens present themselves as Saviors in a time of great need for humanity (poor economy, housing bubble etc., all the same problems we have today)
-They are really shapeshifting lizards who have secretly positioned themselves in all areas in society in religion, government, business etc. to steer us into a worldwide crisis
-They live in a world that is not separated into countries like on earth, they are "one people"
-They want to offer universal healthcare to humanity
-Their #1 weapon is devotion
-They manipulate the media to show them only in a good light so as to reassure (mislead) humanity of their intentions
Anyone else notice a similarity to something else?
