Wtf? The Han Chinese are the main ethnic group in China and they have been in charge for most of China's history.

no, its cuz the han conquered the min and then said that the min were han even though it was the min that was in charge from 2000BC to 500AD

And what about Middle Chinese? That came from Old Chinese, too. And all the modern Chinese languages that came from that? Min is in the same boat.

where is the evidence that middle chinese is directly derived from old chinese. for all we know, it is the language of the northern barbarians with influences from old chinese. certainly it is different enough that it is plausible to assume so.

min on the other hand is what most closely resembles what confucius used to speak and therefore the min people are the true descendants of the huangdi. mandarin han are just jealous.
