I'm giving them to much credit? How many people are recruited (signing up) every month and how many people are claiming they were lied to? What do you think the ratio is to people who sign up and don't complain to people who sign up and do claim they were duped in some fasion? Like I said, it does happen, but it's not like every other recruiter is out there scamming every person he/she signs up. There are thousands and thousands of recruiters and we see what? A couple of claims a year? I'm sure ther are dozens of claims that don't make the news as well, but (again) who's telling the truth? We just don't know.
Like I said, when I was in I had several people tell me they were lied to by their recruiter. When I asked them how were they lied to and they explained....they were full of shit. They weren't lied to, they were either to stupid to understand what was said or they had some pre-conceived notion and disregarded what was said and once they were in realized it wasn't what they thought it was going to be and claimed they were lied to.
Again, I know some recruiters do lie. But, in my first hand experience, the amount of actual lies told by recruiters are fairly low (actualy zero) compaired to the amount of CLAIMS of being lied to. And, as I said earlier, we don't know the complete story in this situation with these two kids. Who's lying and who's not. To default to "recruiters are lying scum" shows how obtuse some people are.
