the reason I wouldn't vote for it (not against it) is because I don't want the government getting involved in it's regulation and taxing it for revenue.

It's just a cash grab for politicians. Just decriminalize anything less than a trafficker's amount.

So you'd rather the traffickers profit instead of money going into a general tax revenue stream to pay for budgetary needs?

Ill start with the fact that im an alcoholic. I truely believe in freedom but I am totally against drugs including beer. It does nothing good for families or society as a whole. I am complete proof of it. My marriage broke up and because of it and my son has to deal without his mother. She is a pot head and had no interest in him with the split. Socially it might be a fun habit that brings some funny and exciting times but its a slippery slope. At 18 I was a social drinker, at 22 I was a weekender, and now at 31 I need about 8 at least to get to sleep. Alot of my friends smoke and I have no problem with that other than the fact that most of them are going no where in their life. They are all extremely intelligent people but none of them have any desire for financial success or even social interaction any longer. Their goal is to smoke enough to get to sleep at night. It is the same as alcohol, a lonely and unfulfilling life.

Should be legal; it's no worse than nicotine (dipping or smoking). It could be taxed, and it would save money on the pointless "war" on drugs.

Fuck no. Unless you legalize all drugs, they're just as harmless as marijuana.

Yeah, lets just ignore scientific and anecdotal evidence.
