Wouldn't cancer still wipe most people out over a 100 year span?

Things would balance themselves out. Breeding would have to be controlled however there will still be disease and violence. Things will become proportionate. An 80 years of retirement will be like nothing.

Who knows. The day we have the genetic knowledge to prevent aging I am sure that curing cancer would not be far behind (if not ahead of).

I don't want to live forever. I want to live well for about 100 years and then I'm out. There is only so much in this world you can do and if you can't do it within 100 years, you're either extremely ambitious or someone who didn't do shit for 80 years and then had 20 years of regrets.

I always hear people tell me that they simply don't have enough time to do what they want in life. Life is too short they say. Then I ask them what they did yesterday and it involves working at a job they hate all day and then watching television for another 6 hours and then going to sleep.

Yeah, this blue marble is just too small for these adventurers.

Stupid. People aren't meant to live forever. That's all we need is the continued population boom we have, along with people living for 120 years.

Is this the guy who claimed that ingesting vast amounts of anti-oxidants each day would slow aging considerably?
