Obama will be forced to say how he is going to fund all of his cute little plans and this won't happen. McCain is a much more seasoned politician than Obama and should be able to use this for his advantage. Obama has gotten buried in every debate he has had with Clinton when actual policies and issues have been discussed. Plus I am pretty sure the mass-media is holding off on the Bill Ayres thing until the general election. THe only reason that thing hasn't hit it off yet is because Ayres is a real supporter of Obama and does the smart thing and refuses to take interviews.

McCain has an uphill battle?
Did you forget who the Democratic nominee will be? If you did, it's a black guy with Muslim roots. Don't let the media fool you, their Golden Boy is going to be the one facing an uphill battle.

Well, I have a feeling that the majority of Americans aren't bigoted let alone believe in crazy conspiracy theories. Considering most of McCain's stances are identical to Bush's, I having a feeling it is McCain who faces the uphill battle.

You mentioned the "Culture War", which was a book he wrote recently in which he goes into detail about how the dicotomy of liberal/conservative is actually better summed up as culture warrior/secular-progressive. All through the book he refers to anyone he dislikes as a "SP". He is, of course, the Culture Warrior. When he was doing the talk show circuit promoting the book, like on Letterman, he came out with a toy sword and shield.

Seriously, 'cultural warriors' (both liberal and conservatives) are one of the densest types of Americans. I understand that there are some changes that need to be made in America, and some people think that those changes need to be either very liberal or very conservative. But seeing everyone who believes in a certain ideology as inherently bad/stupid/evil/inferior is borderline insane. Its the same type of mentality anti-semits use to come up with theories that 'jews control the media'.
I'm sorry to all you 'cultural warriors', but there no conspiracy plot by conservatives nor liberals to destroy America.
