I lived in Japan for a year. It's an unbelievably racist country. Segregation is still legal there. They still have bars and restaurants with signs that say "Japanese only" on the outside.

Now sure, if it was a white american it would be consiered racism because of White America's history with black's. 3/5ths human arguement an so forth. japan does not have this sort of history and beng called monkey is not considered offensive and not a racial slur for blacks. You do realize there are bars and restaurants that don't allow gaijin (non-Japanese)?
