Before the PA primary the Repub race was supposedly over but after PA voting Ron Paul got 16% of the Vote which was over 128,000+ votes. PA is a closed primary so this was Repubs only voting. Huckabee also got like 12% of the vote and this is without Paul or Huckabee even competing in PA. McCain only got about 70% of the Repub vote this shows how weak he will be in a National Election when he can't utterly swamp Paul or Huckabee in an uncontested race.

those vote totals don't mean much. The only people who voted are people with a personal agenda. You are more likely to get a Ron Paul supporter or Huckabee supporter to go out and vote instead of a McCain supporter.

Paul and Huckabee supporters were motivated to vote to show that their views are not being covered by McCain. I really am not sure why someone would ever cast a vote for Huckabee, he is the closest thing to Hitler I have ever seen in the modern world. He scares me so much.

I mean Ron Paul, I completely suppot voting for, but Huckabee honestly is Hitler. If Huckabee is the VP I will send money to Hamas to assassinate that crazy fuck.

I am not sure that is true as McCain voters did come out and PA voters voted about in the same numbers percentage wise as in 2000 when it was Bush-McCain. McCain did get over 500,0000 votes but the percentages seem to be most surprising. I mean when the race is over its supposed to be over but this says Repubs are very unhappy with McCain esp. when their vote really won't count and they know it but went out and voted anyway.

Paul won't get enough delegates to win, but he is winning far more delegates in Caucus states, for their polls are basically straw polls and mean nothing. Only the people who were voted as delegates mattered. A lot of McCain supporters didn't run as delegates, and alot of people didn't even stay after to vote for delegates.

I posted an NYT article yesterday about this. Over 27% of registered Republicans did not vote for McCain, that's a pretty big number if you ask me, and with the trend we've seen in these last few elections, it's more than enough lost votes to ruin a candidate's chances.

when push comes to shove, these voters will vote for Mccain over Obama. The only way this is trouble is if Hilary gets the nomination, considering she could get the Huckabee supporters.

I'm pretty sure people who support Ron Paul don't end up mattering in general elections anyway as they are the sect of the Republican party that vote 3rd party every election.

Paul supporters are also liberating delegates from McCain. The other night Nevada tried to shut out Paul voters but it didn't work.

128,000+ plus PA voters will vote for a 3rd Party in PA that is fairly hard to believe as PA is a closed primary that means only Repubs voted in it. How many Repubs voted 3rd party in the last election from PA? I would say it wasn't 128,000+

LOL the NYT and I on the same page who would have thunk it. It is a huge number when you consider there were no Dem crossover votes for Paul or Huckabee.

I think there will be quite a lot of Paul backers that'll jump ship towards Obama (definitely not Clinton); remember that Ron has brought people from all political sides, among them thousands of Democrats, who'll simply go back. But imagine if he had been the one elected by the Reps, could you think of the chaos he would create in the Democratic Party?
