Roe v wade is poorly reasoned law whether you're pro choice (like me) or pro-life (like ron paul, incidently). aborted fetus stem cell research has never yeilded a single result. not one. Gay marriage is a red herring, created by the government's seizure of parochial powers and family responsibilities. No mainstream candidate will improve any of these circumstances. and you show me one candidate who will quit the drug war and lower taxes I'll vote for him/her. Again, that candidate does not exist in either party.
Bottom line: No reasonable, educated ron paul supporter (and I wonder how many of us there are) could ever vote obama or hillary.

RP has three main ares from which he gets support.
1) Disaffected Fiscal conservatives (people who are being pushed out of the republican party by big spenders)
2) Freedom thinkers (people who tend to idealize libertarian philosophy)
3) The anti crowd (people who are for anything other than the normal)
Of these, the 3rd group has a low reluctance to changing parties because their loyalty is not to any party system. They are also reliant on the emotional impact of bold provocative statements (to reinforce the rebelliousness of their candidate) and right now RP is much quieter than Obama.

As a RP supporter, I will vote for a democrat just based on the Supreme Court. I cannot stand most of the Democrats plans but when it comes to civil and personal liberties the Republican justices are straight Nazis. At least the Liberal Justices still give a shit about our rights and freedoms as individuals and arent just sucking the Corporate nipple.

um, you are way off. Clarence thomas is the only man on the court that would dismantle the specious commerce clause jurisprudence of the last 150 years. And George I (41) appointed him.
Thomas, in his Lopez concurrence:
" Although I join the majority, I write separately to observe that our case law has drifted far from the original understanding of the Commerce Clause. In a future case, we ought to temper our Commerce Clause jurisprudence in a manner that both makes sense of our more recent case law and is more faithful to the original understanding of that Clause."
And he, at least, has.
Thomas is damn near libertarian, and Scalia is closer than most. The new conservatives, whatever their mistakes, are freedom's last best hope. see Kelo if you want to know where the liberals will take us.

I think alot more people support Paul because of his strict adherace to the Constitution and because Ron Paul doesn't want to reach into your pocket like every other politician.

You are forgetting those who vote for him because he's the only shot there is in a modern election to bring back segregation. He wants to get rid of anti-discrimination laws on a Federal level so that States can start discriminating against blacks, Hispanics and Asians where they are the minority.
Racists will of course never side with Obama.
