At least Harold and Kumar are comedy movies and not meant to be taken seriously.

People actually taking the movie seriously is like that one Pesian guy who was pissed the movie 300 for misrepresenting ancient Persia.

I never saw the Harold and Kumar movie as I figured it is just the typical Hollywood regurgitated teen comedy with the usual cliches.

People take the movies serious just like they do john stewart.... I dont like comedy with any type of political points in it. When I hear a stand up comedian get into it its not funny and its just stupid... That is different then a punch line on the tonight show tho

Nah man, not at all I'd say something like American Beauty. The out in the open homo couple was completely normal and stable and the traditional family and closeted homo were completely deranged. Something like that or any of those movies made about Iraq war or even Avatar.
