Oh, there are plenty of nice guys on both sides of the debate. I think we can all agree that the gviolent thugs in the first video are hated by all, as are violent racists who want to get rid of all Latinos just because they are Latino.
Glenn Beck is an extreme TV and radio celebrity with whom I rarely agree, but he presents an interesting case here about two border patrol agents who were sent to prison for 11 and 12 years for shooting a drug smuggler under very questionable circumstances. THe good part starts at about 3:15 and goes until the end of the video.

i dont believe all people who are illegal immigrants will "get in your face," actually hit you, spit on you, etc. but i think the idea of "azlan," that the land belongs to mexicans, is widely accepted. i have no idea how widely, lets say 50% would say indeed the land "belongs" to them. i think thats a powder keg, and communists know that. if a revolution ever happens in the US, it will be in the southwest as a result of che communists aggitating the prole mexican ghetto-ites.

You're talking about the 15-30 mexicans that are standing outside damn near every hardware and building supply store all day in any given American town, right?

You are right, not all illegal immigrants will do that. They are the ones that will be filmed though, not the ones hiding in fear of capture. I bet most illegals living here are careful not to be aggressive and break laws because they don't want to be caught and deported. They have family here and jobs and property. If I were living someplace without authorization, I would keep a low profile and not spit on people with cameras.
Notice though that it is Aztlan and not Mexico. If it were Mexico, then there would be a modern political claim and they would draw the Mexican government into the argument. Instead, they claim ownership for a civilization that no longer exists. The people of Aztlan (the Mexica) have dispersed through Latin America and live in those countries.
History lesson (maybe someone doesn't know, so if you do, just skip it):
Aztlan is the mythical land from which the Aztecs migrated before settling in what is present day Mexico City. The Aztecs were only called Aztecs when Mexico (the country) needed to find a new name for its self during its fight for independence. Mexico was formally New Spain and the Aztecs were formerly the Mexica people. In order to break with Europe and choose a name that would reflect the mestizo nature of their nation, the Criollos (born in the New World, but of Spanish descent) named their country Mexico and REnamed the Mexica as Aztecs. No one knows exactly where Aztlan is, but it is likely deep into the United States, possibily above Colorado. The Mexica were a probably migrant people living somewhere in this Aztlan region before moving south into central Mexico and creating a military empire based on tribute and agriculture.
What is also interesting is that though the Mexica (Aztecs) famously trace their origins to Aztlan, so do other indigenous groups. The Cakchiquels (and I believe the Mayans) also write of this in their earliest origin myths. For the Cakchiquels, a group living near the Mayans in Central America, a legendary migration from Aztlan by their god Kukulkan is their earliest recorded cultural memory. We may theorize that the native peoples have this in common because originally all of the Americas were unpopulated and humans all arrived from the north, crossing over a Russian-Alaskan land bridge over the course of thousands of years (13,000 years ago, if my memory of American history class serves me tonight).

i enjoy the prevalence of "positive stereotypes" such as these, because people use them to justify illegal, unassimilating, immigrants. but if i said whites work hard in general, i become a nazi, at the moment the words have left my lips. funny how that works.
the minute men are the only people who do the jobs that noone wants to do. everyone else is here to get fat because mexico by and large has failed its own population. hey, if immigration is so good for a country, why doesnt mexico try to keep their own people in mexico?

i agree, and recognise that only the bad element is capable of being filmed acting crazy in the streets. but we should also understand that all kinds of media, academics, and politicians are enabling a certain boldness of action in illegal immigrants. when the so-called "right wing nut" president is open border, it sort of gives you the "cojones" to take power while the trend of opinion is in your favor. i think in the next 20 years, we could certainly see insurrection, and i think revolutionary types hope to foster it and give birth to monstrous strife and division.
