ok a better one, how about asking him what his thoughts are on the British forces Commander in Afghanistan, Brig.-Gen. Mark Carleton-Smiths comments

"We're not going to win this war," he told the newspaper. "It's about reducing it to a manageable level of insurgency that's not a strategic threat and can be managed by the Afghan army."

He also said that negotiations may be necessary to end a Taliban insurgency.

"If the Taliban were prepared to sit on the other side of the table and talk about a political settlement, then that's precisely the sort of progress that concludes insurgencies like this," Carleton-Smith said. "That shouldn't make people uncomfortable."

I would love to know what he did to earn his bronze star? He worked as a staff officer, collecting data and helping in operations planning, and was awarded the Bronze Star for his work with the staff.

Bronze Star Awarded for:
“Heroic or meritorious achievement or service”
4th highest award.

Edit: I know he was wounded later, I'm just wondering what he did to get the bronze star.

ONe last question. Does he care to elaborate on General Shelton's comments about Clark's retirement was caused by integrity and character issues?
