Also what is your obsession with comparing this to racism? It comes off as dishonest and a shows off a lack of depth. There are plenty of good arguments to use yet the one chosen is completely bogus?

Because bans on inter racial marriage prohibited two adults from freely choosing who they wanted marry.

Explain how this is any different?

I did not compare it to racism you half whit (god I swear SC is by the dumbest state)

I compared it to bans on inter racial marriage, that restricted adults to be only be allowed to marry within a racial group.

This is no different except instead of race its sex and based on nothing but pure Bigotry and fear.

inter racial marriages are banned based on race. No one is stopping a gay guy from marrying a lesbian...
